Our annual plumbing check goes through the entire property systematically. Every overflow, every waste connection, every tap, every valve, every visible pipe. We check water pressure, look for corrosion, test isolation valves and inspect all the seals.

Particularly useful for landlords and managing agents who need to demonstrate they are maintaining their properties properly. Pair it with a cylinder service or boiler service and we cover everything in a single visit.

Common questions

What does the check actually cover?

Everything that water touches. Visible pipework, taps, valves, waste connections, overflows, cisterns, seals, grouting, flexible hoses, water pressure. We go room by room and check every connection.

How long does it take?

About an hour to ninety minutes for a typical flat or small house. Bigger places with more bathrooms take a bit longer.

Is it the same as a boiler service?

No, completely different thing. A boiler service covers the boiler and its gas connections. A plumbing check covers the water systems throughout the property. They complement each other but do not overlap.

Can you fix what you find?

Small things like re-sealing a bath, tightening a joint or changing a washer can usually get done during the visit. Anything bigger, we quote separately.

How often should I get one done?

Once a year is ideal, especially for rental properties and older buildings. Hard water areas and properties with aging pipework benefit most.
